Greetings to my beloved brothers and sisters:
Welcome to the 50th Annual
Conference of the Alabama Baptist Conference of the Deaf. On behalf of
the ABCD officers and the Board of Trustees, we hope you will find your
stay enjoyable as you fellowship with your old friends and make new
friends.
Your ABCD officers
have been busy getting things ready for the conference. Many things will
be happening this spring and we are looking forward to this. We greatly
appreciate your prayers for us. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary in
March, we will be praising God for His faithfulness in the past, His
faithfulness presently and His faithfulness in the future. The Board of
Trustees and ABCD Executive Board met and expressed our desire that ABCD
moves forward in doing great things for God. Scripture tells us to “seek
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things
will be provided for you” (Matthew 6:33). This is what we are attempting
to do…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
I want to say “Thank
you” to all the messengers and the By-Laws Constitution committee for revised new PPM/By Laws Constitution by
adding the Board of Trustee. We all have been working together and
mentoring each officer and helping and teaching what to do or how to do,
etc. I can see how Strong the ABCD organization will be in the future.
God is good-All the time! Be sure to compliment them for their work
during the week of ABCD! They have gone over and beyond our expectations
and deserve this recognition.
May this conference be a blessing to each of
you.
